The economy is steadily recovering, so now is a great time for a woman to enter the work force. Below are five of the highest-paying jobs for women in 2012:


A pharmacist is a professional who is responsible for dispensing medication that is prescribed by physicians and other health care providers. Pharmacists also give patients instructions on how to safely use medication. The vast majority of pharmacists work in a pharmacy, but they can also work in hospitals or grocery stores.

Pharmacists are required to earn a doctor of pharmacy, or Pharm.D. Degree. Students typically complete two or three years of undergraduate school before they enter graduate school.
